CAE GLAS PARK \\ FREE ENTRY \\ ALL AGES WELCOME

\\ENTRY & SECURITY (WRISTBANDS)

 

Oswestry Balloon Carnival is a free family fun event with no entry fee. For health and safety over the event weekend, you will receive a wristband on arrival. Please be aware we will only be giving ONE wristband per person/child per day.

Please also be mindful that the park is a public area.

The carnival security and fire safety is being supplied by Valley Security and Fire Ltd. If you have issues or inquires on either day of the event please go to the Nightingale House Hospice stall located by the park memorial gates or park green hut next to the playground. 

\\EVENT TIMES

Saturday 21st  - 10am to 9:30pm

Sunday 22nd - 10:30am to 7:30pm

\\DONATIONS

Oswestry Balloon Carnival chosen charity is Nightingale House Hospice. There will be hospice volunteers based around Cae Glas Park to help with any inquires. You can also support the charity via coin donation, tap to donate (£2.00 min charge) or purchasing glow items for the Night Glow on the day. \\TRAVEL OPTIONS

Please see our transport and parking page for more information. Please be aware some transport services my be limited due to the weekend. 

\\ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

 

There will a bar in service at the event over the carnival weekend. We want everyone to enjoy the event, however we would like to remind attendees to be mindful that Cae Glas Park is a public areas. Oswestry Balloon Carnival is a family fun event. Please drink responsibly if consuming alcohol at this event.  

\\BALLOON ACTIVITY

 

We have an array of hot air balloons attending this event. 

Please be aware that balloons are only operational in approval weather conditions. Activity is weather dependent.  Our event flight director will be giving updates over the carnival weekend on flight conditions and balloon activity. You can also follow weather and event updates live on our event Facebook page. 

\\NIGHT GLOW

The night-glow will be returning again this year on Saturday 21st August at 9pm. This years Glow has been organised again by Spirit Operations. Nightingale House will also be selling an array of children's glow items prior to the show from the Fun Fair section within the park.

\\DOGS 

Dogs are allow to the attend this event, however they must be on a lead at all times. Please be mindful of dog when balloon activity is present as they can be startled by the burners. There will also be taps in the park to keep your four legged friends hydrated.
